Aisle: This usually requires the largest quantity of rose petals and is therefore one of the most varied quantities. It is based on a average aisle width of 3 feet for Full coverage or 6 inches on each side for Border Only coverage.

Tables: This is based on a typical round table that seats 8 to 10 guests. If you have a large centerpiece and/or little extra space on the tables, you can choose the Sprinkling coverage. If you have more room on the tables and you want the petals to attract more attention, choose the Lots coverage.

Flower Girl: This one is fairly straightforward, based on an average size basket. Generally, the older the flower girl, the more she will use.

Tossing: This is based on an average sized handful of rose petals per guest. If you are using larger cones or organza bags, or if the petals are in a large container for guests to grab, you may want to use more.

Total: This is the total of all the calculators, but keep in mind that you can use silk for some things and freeze dried for others, so this may only apply if you are using just one type of rose petal for everything.
